What does AC Milan’s new manager and Chelsea have in common? Juan Cuadrado. The Milan manager, Vincenzo Montella, has worked with Juan Cuadrado during their time at Fiorentina and is said to be looking to reunite with his old player again.
Juan Cuadrado’s future has been much talked about since the beginning of the transfer window. The player spent last season at Juventus and while the Old Lady wants to keep him, were looking for a cut-price deal with Chelsea. Antonio Conte is supposed to be a big admirer of the Colombian and wants to keep him but there could be major competition for first team football at Chelsea next season.
However, Montella could provide an exit option for Cuadrado with a season-long loan with an option to make the move permanent next season for £15 million. Will Conte agree to let go of Cuadrado? We will have to wait and see.
