Chelsea Ready To Offer 25 Million For Fellaini

Everton’s midfield maestro Marouane Fellaini has been on the radar of Sir Alex Ferguson for sometime now. After initially the Merseyside boss, Moyes claimed that he has full control over the Belgian’s transfer, the player declared that he is ready to leave the club either in January or at the end of the season.

That had alerted the Premier league teams and it is now believed that Chelsea are ready to battle it our for the Man Utd target. The Mirror says, the Blues boss Roberto Di Matteo is looking for a central midfielder to fill in the void left by Michael Essien and Raul Meireles.

Chelsea are left with Frank Lampard and John Obi Mikel as the natural replacemnts for the players but the partnership is doubter by Di Matteo and he wants a proper man to replace and the hardworking Belgian would be perfect for the role.

David Moyes has made the player what he is today and he is not ready to let go the player easily. Also Fellaini extended his Merseyside stay until 2016 last year making him the club’s best-paid player on £75,000-a-week.

However, the manager has admitted that Everton would find a massive offer difficult to refuse – giving Chelsea hope that a January move could be negotiated.
