Chelsea have been linked with the Paris Saint Germain player Marquinhos for some time now and this time around the Blues have made the player their priority target for the summer transfers.
Reports further suggest that Manchester United too are looking to secure the player’s services. However PSG have held firm so far in warding off any approaches from other clubs for the player.
According to reports from the Sport (cited by talkSPORT), Chelsea are now preparing for a bid for their priority target and are ready to spend big on signing the player in the summer. Further the Blues are also giving the player a chance to play as a centre-half rather than playing in the full back position as PSG have done.
Marquinhos moved to PSG in 2013 for £27m and one can expect that the Blues will need to pay an amount north of £40m so as to acquire the signature of the player.
