As Chelsea attempts to build a stronghold next season their chase for a midfield general continues. The Blues have been linked with Radja Nainggolan for quite some time now and reports suggest that the signing could be complete in the coming week.
According to Mirror, Chelsea has already bid for the Belgium international twice and while the bids have been rejected, the club is preparing to bid again and wrap up the deal in the coming week. AS Roma are holding out for an offer of £35 million and are not willing to let go of Nainggolan unless that price is met. Earlier this month Roma, the club has already lost Miralem Pjanic to Juventus and are not willing to go down on the asking price for Nainggolan.
Chelsea’s incoming boss Antonio Conte is keen on signing Nainggolan as there may be a few notable exits from the current Chelsea team.
