Chelsea have recently launched a double bid for Hakan Calhanoglu and Milan Badelji. According to reports, the duo can be signed up under £27 million.
The Blues have had a very different start to the season, unlike the last term, under new manager Antonio Conte and are currently sitting at the top of the league one point above the second placed Liverpool. They have won six league games in a row and are on a hot run of form after their manager has changed their formation to a 3-4-3.
They have scored 16 goals and conceded none but the 47-year-old Italian manager knows about the competitiveness and fierceness of the League and Conte isn’t just looking to be complacent after the winning streak.
The Stamford Bridge outfit has begun their pursuit to bolster their midfield and their prime targets are to drawn the signature of Hakan Calhanoglu from Bayer Leverkusen and Milan Badelj of Fiorentina.
With the likes of Jon Obi Mikel, Cesc Fabregas and Oscar linked to move away from London in the January transfer window the re-assurance of midfielders will be a top priority for Conte if his team are willing to push for the title.
It seems Chelsea have already begun negotiations with Bayer Leverkusen on the transfer of 22-year-old Turkish star and the German team has prized the player at £17million with £10million on the Croatian midfielder Badelj.
