Chelsea predicted line-up to face Burnley in the Premier League

Chelsea host bottom-half side Burnley in their next league match of the season at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Chelsea’s last 2 home games in the league ended in defeats against Bournemouth and Southampton respectively, and the Blues will be eager to once again get back to winning ways when they face the Clarets at home.

Meanwhile, Burnley have not been in the best of spots, having lost their last 3 league outings, which has seen them being pushed to 15th in the table.

Manager Frank Lampard’s Chelsea look like clear favourites to win, while Burnley will be hoping to cause an upset, with the side hanging just five points clear of the relegation zone.

Team news

Lampard does not have major injury concerns at the moment except for the injured Marcos Alonso and Christian Pulisic, who are doubtful for the clash against Burnley.

Meanwhile, long term absentees Marco van Ginkel and Ruben Loftus-Cheek still remained ruled out.

Chelsea predicted line-up

Formation: 4-3-3

Kepa Arrizabalaga (GK)

Though the Spaniard has not been at his best this season, he is the side’s first-choice keeper and will get the nod, having been rested last game.

Reece James (RB)

The youngster has been improving with every game and has featured in their last 2 games. He will most likely be seen in action once again.

Antonio Rudiger (CB)

We’re yet to see the German at his best but has slowly nailed own his place in the side after returning from his long injury lay-off.

Kurt Zouma (CB)

He was rested for the FA Cup fixture but is most likely to feature, with the coach having played him in 20 of their overall 21 league games so far.

Cesar Azpilicueta (RB)

The ever-reliable skipper was their sole goalscorer in the 1-1 draw against Brighton and would be preferred over Emerson at the left-back position.

Jorginho (CDM)

He has been pretty decent in the middle in the last couple of games and will be responsible for cutting down Burnley’s attacks.

N’Golo Kante (RCM)

An integral part of the whole Chelsea line-up, Kante is the Blues’ most dynamic midfielder and one of the first names on the team sheet.

Mason Mount (LCM)

Mount has had an excellent debut season so far and has won his manager’s faith with some good displays in the middle.

Willian (RW)

The veteran winger did not start in the last game but will surely be amongst the starters this time, being the side’s top assist provider this season.

Callum Hudson-Odoi (LW)

The teenage winger was on target in Chelsea’s win over Nottingham and will most likely get the nod this time too, with Pulisic remaining a doubt.

Tammy Abraham (ST)

Tammy has not exactly been in the form that he was at the beginning of the season. However, he is still their best bet and is a certain starter.
