Mercato365 further added on Friday that an English source had told them the London club were quite keen in signing the former Olympique de Marseille midfielder.
When the Portuguese giants faced the champions of England in the Champions League a few weeks ago, the 23-year-old midfielder was quite impressive and confirmed why the Londoners were in the hunt to sign him. After being linked with a move to Stamford Bridge when he was with the Ligue 1 outfit, the player eventually joined Porto in the summer for €20m, though now the west London side are quite keen on signing him, after a horrific start to their new season.
