Chelsea Latest: Toni Kroos Teases Mourinho, Victor Moses To Liverpool Almost Confirmed

Jose Mourinho under pressure at Madrid

Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos has stated that the claims made by Jose Murinho regarding the Chelsea and Bayern match midweek are ludicrous.

Mourinho has earlier remarked that on that particular night Chelsea were the better side and that Bayern’s winning was injustice to them. Kross has reacted strongly to Jose’s comments and has made the following statement.

“He exclusively has this opinion. I’m not sure if he’s being serious. Even with 11 players, Chelsea were far worse than us.”

Bayern Munich won their first cup under Pep Guardiloa on that night when they beat Chelsea to lay their hands on the UEFA Super Cup. The match ended in a 2-2 draw after completion of Extra Time and then was decided by penalties. Lukaku of Chelsea missed his shot and thus Bayern were declared the winners with a 5-4 scoreline in the penalties.

The rivalry between Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho is well known during their times in Spain with Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively and even after changing clubs, it has not shown any signs to diminish.

On the other hand, Liverpool have now reportedly sealed a deal for Chelsea winger Victor Moses on a season long loan deal. The Nigerian will cost the Merseyside club £1m for this deal and with no clause of making the move permanent.

The 23 year old player joined the Blues last term from Wigan for a fee of £9m and has since gone on to make 23 appearances for the club. Liverpool have long been looking for a decent winger to operate from the flanks. They want to move Phillipe Coutinho to the centre of the midfield and have thus tried to bring a host of big name players unsuccessfully.

If Moses moves to Anfield, he will join old teammate Daniel Sturridge, who made the switch in January after being omitted by the London side. He has since found his lost form for Liverpool and has been the most influential man for them in the absence of Luis Suarez.
