Premier League champions Chelsea are in talks with La Liga outfit Real Betis to complete a move for Dani Ceballos, as per claims from Spain. The 19-year-old midfield superstar was being linked with a number of big clubs from England in recent months including the Blues’ league rivals Arsenal and Liverpool.
The west London side have just joined the race to sign the Spanish U-21 international, as manager Jose Mourinho looks to add more quality to his squad.
Chelsea did not had the best of starts to the league campaign and Estadio Deportivo report that the club has enquired about the midfielder, with regards to making a potential bid soon. The report adds that the Londoners have been keen tabs on their target since 2014 and are quite keen on bringing him to Stamford Bridge in the upcoming days. The central midfielder has a total of 37 first-team appearances for Betis and has scored a tally of five goals till date.
