The teenager was bought on a six-month loan from French giants PSG in January.

Weah made an immediate impact at Park Head and received plaudits from the fans for his stellar performances.

The memorable moment arrived in the game against St John stone when Weah came as a super sub and pulled off a win with his heroics.

Regardless of that, the teenager was deployed as a substitute in every game. He has made 12 appearances till now and bagged three goals across all competitions.

Weah said, (h/t The Sun)

“It’s going very well at Celtic. The players and the coach accepted me very quickly. The integration was easy because I speak English”

“The people are really nice. It’s easy for me there. I live incredible things through football right now.

He also commented on the surprising decision made by his parent club.

“I did not understand why I was not playing. At the beginning of the season, I played very well against Bayern Munich in a friendly and I scored in the Champions Trophy against Monaco. I felt good. And suddenly, I was no longer there.”

Despite being obscure about where his future lies,  the American teenager still expressed his desire to play for his parent club.

(h/t The Sun)

“My aim is still to play for PSG. At the moment that is difficult because I have Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani ahead of me in the team.

Weah was a part of the Hoops’ Europa League squad that were eliminated from the knock out stages by Valencia.

Meanwhile, Neil Lennon, the Hoops makeshift manager is set to face his first Old Firm derby in seven years.
