The Invincible Scots: Predicted Celtic Line-Up To Face Hamilton Academical

The invincible and unbeatable Celtic return to action, and will host Hamilton Academical at the Parkhead in their 26th Scottish Premiership game of the season.

The Bhoys are on a 31-match unbeaten streak in the league, and will look to extend it to 32 against the second to the last team on the log on Saturday, but caution is still the keyword as every team in the land is out to put an end to their record-setting adventure.

Both sides have met twice in the league this term, with Rodgers’ men edging weekend’s visitors out on both occasions and that is expected to happen again on Saturday.

Here is how the Hoops might line up for the clash as they seek their 25th Scottish Premiership win of the season and a consecutive 21st league win.

Celtic line-up to face Hamilton Academical

Formation : 4-2-3-1

GK – Gordon

Has been a constant presence between the sticks for the Bhoys and is certain to continue in his duty post for Saturday’s clash.

LB – Lustig

Has permanently made the left of the defence his own and is highly likely to continue ahead of Cristian Gamboa for weekend’s clash.

CB – Boyata

The Belgian centre-half is one of the constant names on the starting XI team sheet after springing to life late last year. He has continued to put in impressive performances and is bound to attract the big clubs soon.

CB – Simunovic

After playing just 3 games this year, the Croatian defender returned to the starting lineup against Motherwell and could yet retain the berth for Hamilton Academical’s visit.

RB – Tierney

Remains the only untouchable member of the defence set-up as he continues to provide both defensive and offensive duties in quality measure.

CM – Brown

The skipper won’t be getting unnamed in the starting XI anytime soon as he continues to provide excellent leadership and shield for the defence.

Set to make his 24th league start of the season.

CM – Bitton

The Israeli defensive midfielder has played every game for Celtic in 2017 and has forged a fine partnership with the captain in the heart of the midfield.

WL – Sinclair

The English winger has hardly gone 3 games without a goal in what has been a fine campaign in the final third for him, and would be keen to get on the act this weekend.

AMC – Armstrong

The midfielder played the whole of 2nd half against Well on Saturday and should start this weekend having attained full fitness.

WR – Forrest

The winger sealed the victory against Well in the last game and has always justified his starting berth that is certain to continue on Saturday.

CF – Dembele

Continues to score in reckless abundance and is now 2 goals away from going top of the goal scoring charts. Would be hoping to do that against a weak Hamilton side.
