Griffith returned to training last month after a long lay-off to deal with his personal issues.

The Hoops faithful were delighted upon hearing his return and so were Neil Lennon and his men.

The Scotsman reciprocated his gratitude to the fans and his team-mates.

There was a certain rumour surrounding his Park Head exit and now the striker has completely shrugged off it.

The 28-year-old vowed to find his groove once he gets more playing time.

And his twitter message shows his eagerness to succeed, despite the hardships.

Griffith replied ‘ And counting’ to a fan’s tweet about his impressive stats.

The former Wolves player has bagged 104 goals in 198 appearances for the Celts.

Neil Lennon, the Hoops’ interim manager, was also keen to play Griffith before the end of the season.

The former Hibernian manager successfully led his side to lift the Premiership glory for the eighth time in a row last week.

Post the title celebration, Lennon heaped praise on the Hoops’ dominance over the years.
