Celtic FC News: Former Celtic boss eyes Callum Wilson at Leicester

Celtic FC News: According to The Sun, new Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers is interested in signing striker Callum Wilson.

The Northern Irish manager left Celtic in the middle of the season to become the manager of the Premier League side.

The erstwhile Hoops manager has signed a deal with City that keeps him until June 2022.

Now Rodgers is interested in bringing the Bournemouth striker Wilson who costs around £40million. (h/t The Sun)

The striker has scored 10 goals and provided 5 assists in the Premier League this season.

Wilson made his international debut for England recently against the USA and scored a goal too.

The former Coventry City player joined the Cherries back in 2014 and has made 139 appearances till now. Wilson has been out of action for a month as he underwent an operation on his knee.

And it is believed that the Foxes could beat the other clubs in signing the striker. Rodgers has also sorted out some players who he wants to join in his new side.

The former Liverpool manager steps into the the role with the Foxes currently in the bottom half of the table.
