Who is Andre Villa-Boas?

The 41-year-old has recently managed Chinese club Shangai SIPG.

Despite not being a professional footballer himself, Boas led FC Porto to Europa League glory in 2011.

The Portuguese gaffer also had a decent spell at Spurs, where he won the manager of the month awards twice.

But he was most fondly remembered for his spell in Russia at Zenith St. Petersburg, leading them to three titles with a success rate above 60%, the highest in his career so far.

Boas’ early experience with the Hoops

During his time at Porto, when he worked with the backroom staff under Jose Mourinho, Boas compiled a scout-report on the Hoops players ahead of UEFA cup final.

Neil Lennon still the favourite

Lennon is having a great time at Park Head, since Brendan Rodgers’ departure to Premier League club Leicester City.

He has led his side to four wins, including an Old Firm derby win.

The derby win has further strengthened Lennon’s chances to become the full-time manager.

Newcastle United manager, Rafael Benitez, has been listed fourth according to the Sky Bet odds.

The Hoops are edging towards their eighth straight league title, 11 points clear of Rangers.

They are looking to defend the Scottish Cup, as they set themselves to face Aberdeen in the semi-final.
