David Turnbull came through the youth ranks at Motherwell
According to a report in Daily Record, Scottish treble winners Celtic have enquired about the possibility of signing Motherwell star David Turnbull during this transfer window. English Championship side Bristol City are also in the race. (h/t Daily Record)

Turnbull, whose contract expires in the summer of 2021, had a great first senior season for Motherwell. He scored nine goals and supplied five assists in 25 Scottish League appearances, playing as an attacking/central midfielder.

David Turnbull is a midfield player, who can operate in other areas of the field as well. He played as an attacking midfielder for Motherwell and had great returns in terms of goals and creating chances.

All in all, the youngster is an impact player in attacking midfield, who possesses the quality to make a telling difference in a particular match.
Celtic shouldn’t hesitate in making a bid for him, simply because they require more creativity and boldness in midfield. While those things don’t get picked out in domestic games, they flatter to deceive in European competition.
Turnbull is still young but the ability and confidence with which he plays football is heartening to see. He is certain to be a star in the upcoming years.
