Cech Back In The Line Up – Strongest Possible Arsenal Line Up To Face West Ham United

After a successful 4-0 victory against Watford, Arsenal will be looking forward to stretch their winning run to 4 games running. This time, they will be welcomed by Slaven Bilic’s side, West Ham United. This surely will be a nail-biting encounter as Arsenal will be looking to close down the deficit between them and the leaders whereas West Ham will be entering on the pitch to achieve their ambition of finishing the campaign in the top 4 spot.

Slaven Bilic’s side is having a great home record as they are 13 games unbeaten at Boleyn Ground. Arsenal, on the other hand, have won just 3 out of their last 6 games and have lost 2.

West Ham united suffered a major blow after their last game as they had to settle the game with a point against Crystal Palace last time out and will be looking forward to bounce back in the league as their aim for the European campaign are in a doubt. West Ham came from behind to take the lead in the game but as Cheikhou Kouyate was sent off, Dwight Gayle equalized to earn Crystal Palace a point and the game was settled.

Arsenal, on the other hand, continued to breathe into their life as they encountered an amazing performance from the young Nigerian star Alex Iwobi. Arsenal opened the scoring through Alexis Sanchez and Iwobi doubled the lead and gave his side a breather.

Arsenal lost their last fixture against Bilic’s side at Emirates by 2 goals to nil but, before that, the Gunners had an outstanding run against the Hammers as they were undefeated for 15 games in all competition drawing just 2 out of them.

Here is the predicted Lineup for Arsenal that could face West Ham this Saturday-

Goalkeeper: Petr Cech-

A top quality shot stopper is what this Czech star is. He is the leader who guides the defence and is a highly motivated player. Didn’t start the last game against Watford but will surely be the one guiding the post. Since his arrival, Arsenal’s defence have been in a very great form.

Defence: Bellerin, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal-

Bellerin had a great last game where he scored his first goal of the season. Though it was a deflected one, it still counts. Paulista started the last game for Wenger but, he should bring in this tall German against his opponents. West Ham have some quality player who are capable of heading the ball accurately. Paulista, is a great defender but when compared to Mertesacker in terms of aerial abilities, he is nowhere near him. Koscielny will surely be leading the team and Monreal will be out on his intimate position.

Midfielders: Iwobi,Ozil, Coquelin, Elneny, Sanchez-

Arsene Wenger might put down the same midfield that played against Watford. All the players had a great game. Iwobi gave a man of the match performance where he scored his second goal for the club and also played a major in Arsenal’s first goal which was scored by the Chilean Alexis Sanchez. Ozil was quite silent in the first half of the game but played nicely in the second half. Played a significant role in Arsenal’s fourth goal where he found Campbell in a free space through a great lofted pass. Elneny had a great game as well alongside Coquelin. Sanchez on the other hand played an extraordinary game scoring a goal and assistingIwobi.

Striker: Olivier Giroud-

Didn’t start the last game but came on as a substitute. Might start the game as Arsenal will be looking to cut the West Ham’s defence through some cheeky long balls and quality crosses in the box and for that, Giroud will be the best option who can get the job done for Wenger’s side.
