Cazorla To Return: Strongest Possible Arsenal Line Up To Face Aston Villa

After playing a 2-2 draw at Etihad stadium last time out, Arsenal will be hoping to jump higher in their next game. With just one game to show for, Arsenal are 2 points behind their London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal will be hosting the relegated side Aston Villa in their last game at Emirates this season. After coming from behind twice in the game, Arsenal managed to hold the Citizens to settle down with a point. Aston, Villa on the other hand, has nothing great to show for this season. The side has been constantly poor, and now will be traveling to London for their last game in the Premier League.

The last time these two sides met in the league this season, Arsenal were the one who grabbed all the three points as they won the game by 2 goals to nil at Villa Park. And the recent results of both the sides are clearly suggesting that Arsenal will manage to a double win against the struggling Villains as the Gunners have managed to grab 10 points from their last 6 games and Villa has just 1.

Here is the predicted Lineup for Arsenal that could face Aston Villa this Saturday-

Goalkeeper: Petr Cech

The Cech international will surely start the last game for the team. Had an average game against Manchester City, where he could have done better to stop De Bruyne’s shot. Arsenal does have David Ospina, but Wenger might go with the Czech International in the next game.

Defender: Bellerin; Gabriel; Koscielny; Monreal-

Arsene Wenger might go with the same back four which featured against the Citizens. Bellerin had a tough last game where he was overpowered by the Belgian star Kevin De Bruyne, but he did gave him a tough fight at times. With Per Mertesacker out injured, Wenger will surely go for the ex- Villarreal defender Gabriel, who will be partnering with the French wall Laurent Koscielny to stop the attacks of Aston Villa. Gabriel didn’t show the much needed quality in his last game against City, but Wenger doesn’t have any great option for the position. Monreal will be deployed at his usual position for sure where he will be supporting the attacks.

Midfielders: Alexis Sanchez; Elneny; Cazorla; Iwobi; Ozil-

The Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez had a great time in playing against City and marked his name on the score sheet for the side. The versatile attacker drives the team forward and is a real work force for the squad who will surely be featuring against Villa. Elneny has been a wonderful performer for the side since his arrival, and Wenger might set him as a holding midfielder to give Santi Cazorla a much needed space in the midfield. Santi missed almost the entire season due to injury, but he might mark his return in the next game. Iwobi had an average game where he was not allowed too much space by the City’s defence, but we all know what the Nigerian is capable of. Ozil missed the last game due to his hip injury, but he might mark his return in next game.

Striker: Olivier Giroud-

The French striker finally had a good game against City where he scored the first goal for the side. With Danny Welbeck out injured, Wenger might get down with Giroud again, who can be a serious threat to the Villa’s defense.
