Cazorla: I Want To Make Arsenal Fans Happy

Santi Cazorla - A closer look

The little Spaniard has hailed amazing Arsenal fans for their love and support and has claimed he would win trophies to make them happy. Cazorla who landed at the Emirates following a summer move from Malaga has been a clear fan favourite this season with some brilliant play making. His ability to find that small pocket of space to pick out a pass and his two footed creativity has been a delight to watch.

Not many would have seen Cazorla prior to this season and I have to admit neither did I, but he caught everyone’s eye in the very first game he played in a Red and White shirt as he looked every bit of a player that he was rumoured to be. The Spain international has contributed 11 goals and 9 assists so far, emerging as arguably the most creative force in Arsène Wenger’s side.

Talking to the Arsenal player, Cazorla said:

‘For any footballer, it`s the most important thing, to make the people who  support you happy and give back to them on the pitch.’

‘Ultimately, I want  to do the job to the best of my ability and for them to enjoy watching Arsenal,  that they`re happy with my work. From the first minute I arrived, the support they`ve given me has been spectacular. I can`t praise  the fans highly enough and hope to give them a lot of success in the future, and  that we can enjoy it all together.’

‘I haven’t been on Twitter for long  and I`m a bit lost in the social media side of things but, little by little,  it`s important to be closer to the fans. I think it`s good too to show the  day-to-day life of a footballer, to give information.’

Cazorla is currently on duty with the Spanish national team who are supposed to play Finland and France for the 2014 World cup qualifiers.
