Can Manchester United, Man City And Chelsea Cope Up With The Managerial Changes?

The most famous football league in the world EPL is facing a tide of transition this season. The three of its top clubs Man Utd ,Chelse and Man city are ready to have a fresh start. While United at the moment is at the top, but for how long???  Jose mourinho came back to his second home to bring it titles and pain to the others,Manuel Pellegrini to the “Noisy Neighbours” and another Scot to Man Utd. Well these three teams are the main competitor next season for the EPL title. Though Arsenal can be a heavy weight too if they spend big but in this article am writing just about these three clubs who are starting with a new manager and a new vision.

Now lets look at these teams and managers in turns….

Chelsea & Mourinho

The return of the “Special One” has doubled the confidence of the players . The track records of this man(Between 23 February 2002 and 2 April 2011, Mourinho went 150 home league matches unbeaten: 38 (W36–D2) with Porto, 60 (W46–D14) with Chelsea, 38 (W29–D9) with Internazionale and 14 (W14–D0) with Real Madrid. ) says it all…with a huge transfer fund to spend Chelsea is sure enough to give a serious threat to all other clubs. This man has every kind of tricks up his sleeves, knows how to deliver titles(In ten seasons of club management, including an eight-month sabbatical in 2007–08, Mourinho has led his club to win its domestic league seven times, the UEFA Champions League twice and the UEFA Cup once). Since 2002, Mourinho has not gone a full calendar year without winning at least one trophy. He has got a charisma which attracts the players to admire and follow him, that’s his biggest strength. After some controversial season for Chelsea, fans can now count on this manager. He has already started to build his squad and reframing it. Players like Modric, Ronaldo, Alonso, Cavani all are linked to the team.  But recently the last season of the special one was not at all special. It was the worst of his career. Thus it will be  the only silver linning for the other clubs , if his bad patch of career continues.

Man City & Pellegrini

Manuel Pellegrini + 100mln transfer fund is indeed a deadly combination.

But it has been stated by Chief executive Ferran Soriano that immediate short term glory is not what they are looking for. They mainly brought  Pellegrini to work more closely with the youth coaches, and to help produce teams he will never get to manage, in short a long term consistent development. But never under estimate the “Noisy Neigbours”, once he has signed on the dotted line at City , Khaldoon declared yesterday that he will be given all authority to build a squad capable of winning the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup and the Champions League.

That could mean spending as much as £100m on Edinson Cavani, Isco, Marquinhos .

The signings of Jesus Navas and Fernandinho already indicates that Pellegrini is not going to let go the Epl title easy this time .

In a rare interview, Khaldoon said:

“This is going to be a very important year for us. We’ve made some important management decisions. We will have a new manager on board in about two weeks. From day one, that manager has a responsibility to prepare a team for us for next season, a team that will be able to compete to win every competition we are involved in. We are now at that level.”

Man Utd & Moyes

The X-factor of the team, Sir Alex is gone, it won’t be unfair to say that Manutd’s strength has been halved. Its the toughest challenge any manager can expect, Moyes the man of Everton has got much more expirience than the other two and has an upperhand than them, but similarly Moyes has almost no experience of Europe’s top flight competitions. We can expect him to follow the footsteps of Fergie to focus on youth development rather than to go for big money spending. He already made it clear that “Fergie time” over by bringing in the new backroom staffs. But the question is can he create his own “Moyes Time”?? Well thats the thing to see. The one thing that Man Utd has is the attitude to win , and now it’s the duty of Moyes to carry on this legacy.

This season’s Epl is going to be one of the best in the history I guess…will the “Blues” rule with the Special one’s special powers, or the “Noisy neighbours” will again get their lips kissing the crowned trophy or else if the effect of “Fergie Time” will last once again for atleast another more year….
