Can Arsenal Snap Up This £16 Million Rated Midfielder ?

Arsenal have been linked with the transfer of another Spanish youngster and Santi Cazorla’s heir in Malaga’s midfield Isco ever since the club was struck under financial crisis. It’s not that Arsenal are keen to sign the youngster but most of the pundits and fans wants him at Emirates because his presence along with Cazorla and Wilshere can really boost the creativity of the Arsenal midfield.

And the signature also looks more realistic now after UEFA announcing that Malaga will be banned from the European competitions for four years under FFP rules if they fail to pay their debts before March 31st 2013. Currently sitting at 4th in the league table and qualified for the knock out stages, Isco has tasted the Champions league dream this season. However with Malaga under crisis it is not sure where they will end up at the start of next season. It is a big risk for the youngster to stay with his current employer and he may easily to choose to move on with several European giants Vulturing around to grab him.

Do Arsenal need Isco ?

One option for Isco could be a trip to North London to pair up with his former team mate Santi Cazorla. It will also be a realistic signing for Arsenal too, who are in need of something new from their midfielders. As demonstrated in the last game against Wigan, though they have creative powers in midfield, Arsenal are always short of some flare ever since Fabregas left them.

Isco has a release clause of around £16million, which is not that big an amount considering they signed Cazorla for a similar amount. If you have watched Isco three or four times the attacking midfielder likes to play on the left as well would add a great creative spark to the midfield. With Arsenal more reliant with Podolski on the wing, Isco could provide a more creative option with Podolski given more of a central role .

When British youngsters Ramsey, Wilshere and others extended their contract, Wenger spoke of an English core inside the Gunners, if they had that coupled with Spanish creativity in Cazorla and Isco and tripled with German efficiency in Gnabry, Eisfeld, Podolski and Mertesacker – Arsenal could be more deadly !!
