Juventus now have to deal with two early injury setbacks of Caceres and Pepe. Martin Caceres suffered potential ligament damage and Simone Pepe a thigh strain during the Trofeo TIM (45 mins mini tournament) which was eventually won by Inter Milan.

“Mirko Vucinic only had cramp, but Pepe has a thigh strain and we don’t know yet about Caceres,” commented Coach Antonio Conte.

He also blasted about the condition of pitch where the tournament was conducted,

“It’s a shame, as such a wonderful tournament watched by so many people is played on a pitch that does not help football and makes injuries more likely.

Inter  won the tournament with 6 points, Juventus with 3 points and Milan finished with zero.
