Bye bye Sanchez – Here are 2 top-class replacements Man United can target including this sensational Englishman

Manchester United Opinion: Two Sanchez replacements United should target

According to a report from the Sky Sports, Manchester United star Alexis Sanchez could be out for six to eight weeks with a knee ligament damage. The Chilean, 30, hobbled off in the second half of the Red Devils’ 3-2 victory over Southampton.

It has been an unhappy period for Alexis Sanchez since his move to Manchester United from Arsenal in January 2018. He has cut a lost and subdued figure at Old Trafford, failing to make a stellar impact.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho back in January and has overseen a complete transformation of the club’s fortunes. He has managed to get the best out of every single player, barring Sanchez, who has failed to hold down a regular spot.

Come summer, it’s time for Solskjaer and United to offload the Chile international and replace him with a younger talent. That said, here are two replacements for Sanchez the Red Devils should target.

Jadon Sancho (Borussia Dortmund)

Jadon Sancho is one of the world’s most exciting talents plying his trade at Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.

The teenager has shone since moving to Borussia Dortmund from Manchester City in the summer of 2017. This term, he has played 31 times and has hit the back of the net nine times and has certainly attracted a lot of attention, with Manchester United already plotting a big-money summer swoop.

Blessed with electric pace, dribbling skills, flair and body control, Sancho is a natural winger. He can play on either flank and terrorise the opposition defenders by running straight at them with the ball.

The young Englishman has the vision and creativity to find runs of teammates with incisive through balls. At 18, Sancho is already proving to be a nightmare to defenders.

He has shown great mentality and maturity at such a tender age and with a huge potential to unlock, United can bag a gem by signing him this summer.

Hirving Lozano (PSV Eindhoven)

Since leaving Mexico, Hirving Lozano has enhanced his reputation at PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie.

The 23-year-old Mexican has been quite prolific with his goalscoring this season after finding the back of the net 18 times and providing nine assists in 33 matches across all competitions.

Blessed with raw pace, flashy skills and close control, Lozano is more than capable of leaving his marker to bite the dust in 1vs1 situations. He likes to express himself more on the ball and possesses the ability to unlock tight defences with a killer pass.

His movement is also impressive, making him such a tricky customer to mark. Lozano will be a fantastic fit at Old Trafford as he can replace Sanchez as well as make United’s attack more potent.
