Predicted Aston Villa line-up to face Sheffield United in the Championship
Aston Villa have been unbeaten in the Championship season so far, however, the frustrating part is dropping unnecessary points to fall off the top of the table. Last week’s late concession against Reading forced Steve Bruce’s men to drop two more vital points.
They now face Sheffield United, who have had a decent start to the season, winning three of the five league games, losing the other two. So, this is going to be a tough away trip for Villa who should be looking to win this game and keep pace at the top.

A huge blow for Aston Villa as Jack Grealish may sit out after getting a knock during the Reading clash. Youngster John McGinn, who has been impressive so far, may also be sitting out this game. New signing Yannick Bolasie is injured, while Keinan Davies and Scott Hogan are still recovering from their injuries. It is a long list of players who will be sitting out for the last game before the international break.

Nyland has been shaky in goal so far, however, Bruce may provide him with more opportunities to prove his worth.

James Chester (CB)
The experienced centre-back should be back after a midweek off, and control the proceedings from the back.
Mile Jedinak (CB)
The Australian has done well to adapt to his new position as a centre-back. Expect him to partner Chester now.
Alan Hutton (LB)
The veteran has been an epitome of consistency in terms of giving it his all. Neil Taylor might have to do more to oust Hutton from the left-back spot.
Birkir Bjarnason (CM)
The Iceland international should be back after a midweek rest and control the midfield, as McGinn will be absent for the game.
Conor Hourihane (CM)
The 27-year-old started the League Cup game and may continue to do it this weekend, as Bruce has injuries in midfield to deal with.
Ahmed Elmohamady (RW)
The Egyptian has blown hot and cold in terms of his performance level thus far and the manager would love to see him be more consistent. The player has the required experience which will help the team.
Albert Adomah (LW)
Another player who needs to raise his game in terms of the final product in the attacking half. Expect him to get the chances to improve his game.
Anwar El Ghazi (CAM)
With Grealish almost certain to be out for this game, Dutchman El Ghazi may start this one as No.10.
Jonathan Kodjia (ST)
The hard-working striker should be back in the line-up after a midweek rest. Villa would want more goals from him though.
