Bruce to make 2 changes – Predicted 4-4-1-1 Aston Villa line-up to face Reading

Predicted Aston Villa Line-up To Face Against Reading In The EFL Championship

Aston Villa did not have the best of games against Hull City. They would have expected to win the game easily but they were held to a 0-0 draw. They will hope this is a one-off rather than a pattern as they really need to keep winning in order to push for promotion via the playoffs.

Reading will be a tough game but they will still be expected to get back to winning ways.

Probable Aston Villa XI

Manager: Steve Bruce

Formation: 4-4-1-1

Sam Johnstone (GK)

The 25-year-old goalkeeper has been solid for Aston Villa this season and had a good game against Hull despite the result.

Alan Hutton (LB)

Alan Hutton had a decent game against Hull, but Steve Bruce will be looking for more creativity from him. He has the ability to change a game on his day.

James Chester (CB)

A strong defender, the all-round centre-back will be hoping to help Villa get back to winning ways.

John Terry

John Terry (CB)

John Terry will be looking to put in another solid performance at the back against Reading.

Ahmed Elmohamady (RB)

Elmohamady will be hoping to get back to business after coming on as a substitute against Hull. Has the ability to get up and down the right-hand side and really take the game to Reading.

Albert Adomah (LM)

Adomah didn’t have a great game against Reading but has proven to be vital on many an occasion for Villa this season. Will be hoping to add more this game.

Mile Jedinak (CM)

The defensive midfielder does a good job for Villa, breaking up play and setting up attacks. Was solid against Hull and will be looking to push on.

Henri Lansbury (CM)

Adds a creative layer to the Aston Villa midfield and can provide the chances to change games.

Jack Grealish

Robert Snodgrass (RM)

The complete player for Aston Villa on the right-wing. Has looked good in a lot of the games this season and will want to continue his good run of form.

Jack Grealish (CAM)

A player that will be hoping to make the difference for Aston Villa and unlock the Reading defence. Has the ability to change games on his own.

Scott Hogan (ST)

Grabban disappointed against Hull and it is surely Hogan’s chance to come back into the team and stake his claim as the number one striker. Will be hoping to grab some more goals before the end of the season.
