Brilliant Kenedy – Best And Worst Rated Chelsea Players vs Norwich

Chelsea continued their impressive form under Guus Hiddink with a 2-1 victory at Carrow Road. The result means Norwich are now in the relegation zone and have picked up just one point from a possible 24 in the league. Their poor form has come at the wrong time with only 10 games left in the league.

Chelsea full-back Kenedy put The blues in front after 39 seconds which is the fastest goal of the Premier League season. Diego Costa doubled Chelsea’s lead just before half-time, however replays showed the striker was in an offside position.

Nathan Redmond gave Norwich hope when he scored in the 68th minute but it wasn’t enough as Norwich slipped to an eighth loss in nine games.

Alex Neil’s men will feel hard done by with Costa scoring from an offside however there is no denying they’re on a poor run of form and with only 10 games remaining, there need to find some good results from somewhere or they will be relegated. Here we will rate the performances of the Chelsea players.

Thibaut Courtois – 7/10

The goalkeeper was unable to prevent Nathan Redmond scoring but was able to help Chelsea get the three points.

Cesar Azpilicueta –  7/10

Azpilicueta has played well at right-back recently and it looks to be his best position for Chelsea going forward.

Gary Cahill – 7/10

The England international has regained his place in the Chelsea team and he put in a good performance, and Hiddink has said John Terry isn’t guaranteed his place when he returns from injury.

Branislav Ivanovic – 7/10

The defender has played very well at centre-back since Terry’s injury.

Kenedy – 7.5/10
The Brazilian took just 39 seconds to score his first Chelsea goal and it was the fastest goal scored in the Premier League this season.
Cesc Fabregas – 6.5 /10
The Spaniard did’t have much of an impact on the game.
Nemanja Matic – 6/10

The midfielder was playing instead of Mikel but he didn’t look as comfortable or efficient as the veteran midfielder.

Eden Hazard – 6.5/10

The Belgian hasn’t had a good season and it was another inconsistent performance from the winger.

Oscar – 6.5/10

The midfielder didn’t have a big impact on the game.

Bertrand Traore – 7/10

Making his first start for Chelsea, the forward did well to get an assist for Costa’s goal and his pace was an good attribute for the Blues.

Diego Costa – 7/10
The striker scored another goal under Hiddink, however he was in an offside position.
