Legendary Arsenal striker Thierry Henry is all set to return to the Emirates Stadium as the coach of the under-18 team. The former French striker is currently working with Arsenal’s Under-18 team while undertaking his coaching badges.
But Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is not happy with this as he has warned Henry that he has to undergo a massive transformation (both psychological and mental) if he wants to succeed at the top.
While speaking to Arsenal.com, Wenger said Henry will discover what the job is about and you have to go through that process if you want to one day manage a football team. The job of a player is centred on you and the job of a coach is centred on others. You find you just focus on others and how you can help them. It demands a psychological and mental transformation that is not always easy. It also demands how to get what you know is available in other people in the most simplistic way.
