Breaking! Real Madrid Approach Manchester United To Sign Superstar Spaniard Once Again

Manchester United looked destined to lose David De Gea last summer before a botched paperwork issue stopped the transfer from happening. Now there are reports that the European champions attempted to sign De Gea again recently.

According to The Telegraph, Real Madrid attempted to sign David De Gea again this summer but Manchester United promptly rejected the offer. Last season he nearly joined the Spanish giants for a fee of £25 million. While it is not reported what the bid was this time, the player looks all set to play his first season under Jose Mourinho.

Manchester United has strengthened the team this summer by adding Bailly, Mkhitaryan, Ibrahimovic and Pogba. With a very realistic chance of winning the title, one would wonder, why has Real Madrid bid for De Gea? Nonetheless, the United fans can breathe easy as any exit of the world’s one of the best goalkeeper is unlikely under the new manager Mourinho.
