Just as it seemed that speculations about Pedro’s potential summer move to Manchester United had died down, there is a new twist in his transfer saga. The Red Devils are looking to reinforce their attacking options with the imminent departure of Angel di Maria and are keen on adding the Spaniard to the squad.
Wednesday’s edition of Catalan newspaper Sport reignited rumours once again about the Pedro’s potential move to Old Trafford.
Across the front page was a news showing the 28-year old superstar in a United kit, hinting once again the possibility of him joining the Premier League giants.
Sport added that Louis van Gaal’s side are looking to complete a €25m deal, though the reigning European champions are insisting on the full €30m.
Pedro signed a new contract recently with the Catalan side. The forward had earlier changed his release clause to €30m, rather than the actual €150m amount, which should push the Dutch manager to get his target soon.
