Arsenal’s long lasting manager Arsene Wenger hinted that he may finally leave the North London club at the end of the season most probably if Arsenal fail to qualify for the champions league. Adding to the wounds, Arsenal lost to Swansea yesterday in their own backyard after showing a tooth-less display. Even Wenger’s famous beautiful football can be no where seen now a days at Emirates.
Wenger considering his future at ArsenalBut after this defeat, asked whether he would resign, Wenger replied,
“Not at all. You make your assessment at the end of the season. I know we’ve got unrest everywhere. It’s a good opportunity to stick together and show we’re a strong club.”
Even though this is not much of a statement. If you would have asked the same question few years back, answer would have been clear and simple like “No, I have a long term commitment here or I am not going anywhere.”
