Real Madrid bought back Alvaro Morata with a single purpose of selling him back to the highest bidder. Looks like Chelsea are the first ones to bid.
According to Don Balon, the Blues have bid £41 million for the Spain striker to buy him from Real Madrid. Arsenal also have been linked with Morata but Chelsea seems to be in the driving seat after making a concrete offer. The player is valued at approximately the same amount and considering that Real just bought him back for £23 million, its a nice little gain for the Spanish giants.
The report has not revealed the outcome of the bid but it is understood that if Morata agrees then the deal should go through smoothly. Real Madrid also wants Eden Hazard from Chelsea and there could be a more intricate deal in place between the clubs if at all the offer is rejected. For now Chelsea is leading the race for Morata.
