According to the latest reports, Arsenal are still not yet ready to give up on Schalke super star Julian Draxler. Gunners are planning to send representatives to Germany to seal the deal for the £35million-rated midfielder.
Arsenal have been tracking Draxler for a long time now. Rising star from Schalke has all the required attributes like ball control, close dribbling, trick moves, and shooting skills to be an instant success at Emirates. With Walcott injured for rest of the campaign, this deal may break or make Arsenal’s title chances this season.
But Schalke management think otherwise. Their chairman Clemens Tonnies urged Draxler to stay with the club.
He said,
“I am of the opinion he should also be with us next season,”
“It would be my personal advice. He can play his best football without any big pressure and at our club he would have a clear mind.
“He is very much in good hands playing for Schalke 04. My general advice for everyone would be to stop making Julian mad.”
