According to reports from Mirror, Arsenal are trying their best to sign Real Madrid youngster Alvaro Morata in January.
Arsenal are in a desperate state after Theo Walcott’s injury which was more severe than it was first thought. Theo is set to miss the rest of the season and also the World Cup. This is a big blow indeed, and this makes buying a striker in January a compulsory task for the gunners.
As per the reports from ESPN, Arsenal scouts are watching the youngster closely and the deal looks more and more possible now.
Morata came into spotlight after some impressive performances in Under-21 European Championship in Israel (last summer), where he scored 4 goals and also won the golden ball award.
Addition of Morata would defienetely add much needed depth to this Arsenal side.
