After all the talks and gossips about Demba Ba joining Arsenal, now the sources from London claims that Arsenal may back away from the deal as their medical team expressed their concerns over Demba Ba’s ticking time-bomb Knee problems.
Poor Demba! The roots of Ba’s knee injury go back to 2006. When playing for Belgian side, RE Mouscron he made a sharp turn and severely damaged his tibia in the manoeuvre, following a subsequent operation, his knee has been a problem ever since. It is believed the problem stems from a nail inserted (during surgery) in his tibia touched a sensitive part of the knee when it was removed. Poorly executed surgery they say!
It is also a known fact that Demba Ba failed a medical at Stoke City. Stoke City manager, Tony Pullis described him once as a “ticking time-bomb”.
He said, “We could’ve lost him after a training session and the money Hoffenheim wanted was unreasonable.”
Now Arsenal medical team who already have so many injuries to heal, expressed their thoughts about this to the Arsenal management reducing the possibility of any permanent deal.
Will Arsenal sign risky Ba? Will that risk pay off? We have to wait and watch!
