Premier League giants Manchester United will now complete the signing of Fulham’s Under-18 midfielder Darren Junior Buffonge during the course of this week, as per reports. These claims were made by Goal.com journalist Greg Stobart, who had revealed the news via a Tweet on Tuesday afternoon, confirming that the youngster would be moving to Old Trafford soon.
Stobart tweeted, “Manchester United investing in youth as well as first team. Told they will sign Fulham u18 midfielder DJ Buffonge this week #MUFC”.
Not too many of the Red Devils’ fans might have heard about Buffonge prior to this week, though the young talented attacking midfielder definitely seems one for the future.
Also, Squawka stated that Buffonge had joined Fulham’s academy from north London giants Arsenal in 2010, prior to earning his place in the Cottagers’ Under-18 side at the end of the 2013-14 season.
The 17 year old superstar is now expected to continue his development in Manchester and if he can impress at the club, could be part of Louis van Gaal’s side someday in the future.
