According to reports, Ligue 1 champions Paris St-Germain are now looking to offer Manchester United an amount of £35m and Gregory van der Wiel in exchange for Argentine winger Angel Di Maria. French television station RMC have confirmed that the Parisian outfit are still keen on signing the 27-year old attacker and are trying to prepare an offer to convince the Red Devils to sell him this summer.

The report claims Di Maria was interested in playing at the Parc des Princes ever since his agent Jorge Mendes, spoke with the French club’s representatives last summer.

The former Real Madrid man has failed to capitalize on his superb early form at Old Trafford, though the attacker seems content to stay in England and tries to justify his £59.7m price-tag.

His agent recently spoke to the media and had said, “He was at Real Madrid and wanted to go to another of the world’s best teams; now he is and he is happy.”
