Manchester United are making a lot of media headlines with their pursuit of Paul Pogba but Jose Mourinho is also working under the radar to get some talented youngsters for the future.
According to Daily Star, the Portuguese manager has sent scouts to observe Reece Oxform from West Ham United while he plays for England U-19 against Holland on Friday.
It was reported earlier that the Old Trafford outfit were interested in signing Oxford but the manager had not yet been signed. Now that Mourinho is here he is continuing the pursuit of the player. Oxford rose to fame last season with his stellar performance throughout the season. He has also been subject to a bid from Red Bulls Leipzig but West Ham has turned down the offer. United may also come with an offer soon and in that case will test West Ham’s resolve. The player still has two years left on his contract.
