There have been recent reports in the British press stating that both Manchester United and Chelsea are monitoring the progress of 19-year-old Serbian midfielder Marko Grujic. The Premier League giants had also sent their scouts to keep tabs on the youngster’s progress recently and it was confirmed by the Daily Mail that a bid of approximately £3m would be made to initiate talks with Red Star.
However, the Red Devils and The Blues are not the only two sides interested in the highly talented superstar, as L’Equipe’s Thursday edition confirmed that Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are also in the race to acquire his services. The French newspaper stated that though the interest is quite sincere, the Parisian club will only look to sign him if Adrien Rabiot would leave the Parc des Princes in January.
This would be a small boost for the English giants, who are keen to sign the Serbian U-21 international, as they look to strengthen their squad.
