The Mersyside club Liverpool have finally made a £9.5m offer for the Udinese midfielder Piotr Zielinski, but are facing a stiff competition from the Italian side Napoli.
Piotr Zielinski has been linked with a move to the Anfield for long, and now the Reds have finally launched a bid for the Polish midfielder, but it is reported by The Guardian that Udinese £12m for the player, who has spent the past two seasons out on loan at Empoli and Napoli have offered £8.7m plus add-ons and the club’s president stated:
“Liverpool have made a bid for him and Zielinski wants to join them, but we are trying to convince the player to join us, because we have an agreement with Udinese.”
It is understood that if Liverpool will be buying Zielinski, then Allen’s future at the Anfield will be at stake. Jurgen Klopp launched the bid last Saturday and also had a talk with the midfielder on the phone to reassure that the player would playing an important role at Anfield next season.
