The Colombian superstar is currently staring at a season where he could be benched for the most part. With Asensio and Bale in top form, the South American is not going to get a lot of chance this season. This has given rise to speculation about his future and the Reds are trying to take the opportunity to sign him.
However, Real Madrid is believed to have told Liverpool that the player will cost £51 million. Signed from Monaco for a staggering £63 million, James is sparingly used by Zidane. Mundo Deportivo from Spain, however, has said that Liverpool will unlikely pay that amount but you never know about the EPL clubs these days.
