Breaking! Liverpool And Tottenham Learn Of Playmaker’s Intentions Over Future Transfer

Mex Meyer

Liverpool had been looking out for Schalke forward Max Meyer and while the Reds pushed for a move for the player in the summer, the Merseysiders were not successful in signing their target.

Liverpool are not the only ones looking out for the player, the Reds have been facing competition for the player’s services from Tottenham Hotspur. Meyer in an interview with a radio station has insisted that he is happy at Schalke and does not regret refusing a move to the Premier League.

The player has two more years left in his contract at Schalke and the player is keen to complete the reminder of his stay at the club.

The Merseysiders signed a host of players this summer as the reds manager Jurgen Klopp prepared for his first full year of in chargeship at the Anfield while strikers Christian Benteke and Mario Balotelli were offloaded from the club.

Further having failed to sign Meyer Spurs brought in forward Vincent Janssen to the club to partner Harry Kane.
