It looks like Arsene Wenger means business this transfer window!! Having secured the signing of the exciting Chilean attacker Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona, Arsenal are all set to raid their counterparts Real Madrid for German midfielder Sami Khedira.
Express are reporting that the Real Madrid man have told the club that he wants out of the club and it could take as much as £24m for Arsenal to land the influential midfielder. Although the news has been confirmed by various sources, it is the tweet from Radio & TV Broadcaster Stan Collymore that has Arsenal fans on the edge of their seats. The man who confirmed the news about Sanchez to Arsenal is again the first to talk about the Khedira deal.
Spoke to agent. Arsenal in advanced talks with Sami Khedira. Fuck me, they’re getting serious.

If Arsenal get Khedira, they win it. A great, great all round midfielder. The FA Cup parade has lit that Arsene fire again. Good to see.

Looks like good times are ahead for the Gunners. From signing French League’s second division players five years ago, Wenger has managed to come so far and is now buying Real Madrid and Barcelona players back to back and all this at the start of the window when usually his transfer dealings come on the deadline day.
Will Arsenal finally compete with the big boys? Whatever it maybe, it surely is a major statement from Arsenal and having got the monkey off the back through the FA Cup victory, Wenger can go on to build a formidable team which can compete in Europe as well.
