Reports from Mirror suggest that Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale is all set to move to Old Trafford once the transfer window is officially open. Daily Express’ John Richardson, who was a guest on MUTV last night, claimed that the move is almost done.
Bale has been under severe criticism by the Spanish media and by his own fans for some below par performances and has been linked with the return to the Premier League in recent weeks with Manchester United and Chelsea as the possible destination for the former Spurs star. Although nothing has been confirmed at the moment, Bale is certainly under the radar of the Red Devils who are aiming to compete with Chelsea for the title next season.
