Alvaro Morata has been on the news for some time now as he was linked with a potential move to Arsenal, however reports suggest that Chelsea have also joined the race to sign the Juventus star.
Reports suggest that Chelsea’s incoming manager Antonio Conte is impressed by the player and had Morata on his target list before he left Juventus to manage the Italian National Team. According to Sky Italia reports Conte is ready to talk personally with Morata over a transfer, further Chelsea are ready to offer him a bumper deal worth more than £5 million a year.
According to reports, Paris Saint Germain and Manchester United too are looking out for the player apart from the Blues and the Gunners. Further Real Madrid have put a £25m buy back clause in his contract.
After a disappointing season at Juventus wherein he scored 11 goals in 46 appearances, Morata is looking to head to the Premier League in the summer. Question remains which club he will be heading into once the transfers are done with.
