Reports from Italy suggest that Serie A giants AS Roma are trying to sign Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma before the current transfer window closes. The France U21 international has been impressive since making his debut for the Blues and is considered a back up for England internationals John Terry and Gary Cahill. However, the 20 year old center-back might want to go leave Stamford Bridge and move out on loan to get some valuable first team experience.
The Italian outfit are expected to lose central defenders Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa and Alessio Romagnoli in the next few days and will be in need of more defensive options.
