Breaking! Chelsea Has Made A £34m Bid For This Senegalese Superstar

Chelsea needs to strengthen their defense in order to avoid a collapse like the one they have experienced last season. For the very reason, Kalidou Koulibaly has emerged as the primary target for the new manager Antonio Conte.

According to Daily Star, the Blues have submitted a bid of £34 million for Napoli defender Koulibaly already. The report further disclosed the details of the offer. The Blues have apparently offered £31.5 million in initial payment with another £2.5 million in several bonuses to the Italian outfit. Koulibaly definitely tops the wishlist of Conte after an approach for Italian international Bonucci fell apart.

The Senegalese player is keen to move out of Napoli even though the club wants to keep him. Last month he even issued a public statement where he mentioned that he has been in talks with Antonio Conte. With John Terry being left with only one year of contract, Chelsea are in dire need of good defenders this summer. If Conte says he fits the bill then we believe him.
