Premier League champions Chelsea have confirmed on Twitter that their talented young midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah has left Stamford Bridge and completed a season-long loan move to Serie A side Napoli. The 20-year-old superstar was previously at Championship club Reading towards the end of the previous campaign and now will be hoping to get some regular first-team action in Italy.
The youngster failed to impress manager Jose Mourinho to secure a place in his starting eleven, but will not be sold, as the Blues will let him leave for some experience. Chalobah is quite a highly rated player in the game and will want to return to west London soon and play for Chelsea someday in the future.
Mourinho’s side already have as many as 33 players out on loan, with the Independent adding that almost £100m worth of talent has been sent away from the club till now. Chelsea will hope that some of these players can return to the club soon and develop into big stars in the upcoming years.
