Breaking! Chelsea Complete Stunning £60M Move For Midfielder

According to reports from Telegraph, Chelsea have agreed a deal for Oscar which could see him leave the club for a fee of £60 Million. The offer has come from Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG and Oscar has also informed his team-mates he could be leaving to China.

“It’s 90% certain. It just depends on some bureaucratic details.” Said Oscar via Globo

Oscar is set to team up with former manager Andre Villas Boas at Shanghai SIPG in January. The 25-year-old has fallen out of favor with his manager Antonio Conte and the Chelsea faithful this season. Having played just 456 minutes of Premier League action this season, making five starts- the midfielder is set to leave the club in the winter transfer window.

Oscar joined Chelsea from Brazilian side Internacional in 2012 for a fee close to £20m and will become the most expensive player to depart Stamford Bridge – trumping the £50m David Luiz went to Paris Saint-Germain for in 2014.

Conte is expected to add to his side in January with a defender and a midfielder being his priority despite going on a nine-game winning run.

He will be given the opportunity to reinvest the £60m they take for Oscar and has been linked with moves for Inter Milan’s Marcelo Brozovic, Roma’s Radja Nainggolan and AC Milan’s Giacomo Bonaventura.

The reports also suggest that Oscar would be earning a mammoth £350,000-a-week at Shanghai SIPG, making him one of the highest earning players in world football. The deal seems very strange for a player who has not yet even scored this season and failed to make the most of the few opportunities that he had been given.

Andre Villas-Boas reportedly wanted the Brazilian at Tottenham but a move never took place, though it seems Villas-Boas may finally get his man.
