Arsenal are preparing a £10m bid for New Castle midfielder Moussa Sissoko to land the player into the Emirates Stadium.
The player has captained New Castle in the final few games and is set to head out of the club so as to avoid playing in Europe’s second tier and could be available at a lesser price.
Reports claim that the Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is a fan of the player and has set his sights on the 26 year old, so as to build his dwindling midfield with Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain and Theo Walcott both apparently ready to head out of the Emirates and Danny Welbeck ruled out due to injury.
The player who is set to be lining up for the European Championship has 12 goals to his credit in 132 appearances made since he moved to New Castle in 2012 and is said to be welcome signing for the Gunners.
