There is some sad news for the Arsenal fans, as England international Danny Welbeck has been ruled out for a number of months, after the 24 year old superstar had knee surgery. The fact that the Gunners did not sign any stars in the summer transfer window and has been thrown into further question by even the club’s most faithful fans, as manager Arsene Wenger seemed quite content with the squad that he has.
Further, it was confirmed on the club’s official website that the former Manchester United man faces ‘a period of months’ on the sidelines after undergoing surgery.
Also, the decision to go through with the operation was taken last week, before the transfer window closed, yet the French boss did not sign an additional front-man.
Wenger still feels that he has enough firepower in his current squad, but the reaction from supporters on social media clearly does not seem to match with their beloved manager.
