Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport recently had a long interview with agent Carlo Pallavicino. While many braced themselves against questions of players whom the agent did not represent, the interview was pretty sensible, the last part of which lead to speculations to run wild.
According to Palavicino reply to the Corriere dello’s question, Antonio Conte is a perfect candidate to replace Louis Van Gaal.
Corriere asked Mr Pallavicino “where Antonio Conte, Italy’s national team manager, could next find himself at club level.”
The agent said: “Manchester United. Antonio Conte’s character and determination would be perfect for English football.”
Antonio Conte is currently the head coach of Italian National Team. During his time coaching Juventus, Conte won three consecutive Serie A titles.
The Italian coach is expected to be back on the level of club coaching after the 2016 Euros. With his excellent track record in the Serie A football, it can be expected that many big names will be looking to sign the player.
While Manchester United being one of the most prestigious clubs will hold a different attraction for the coach to replace Louis Van Gaal.
